Whiteboard
From VirtualLounge
Add anything you like here! Treat it just like the whiteboard in the lounge! This is also a good place to link other random pages you make that don't really fit into any formal category and are just for gathering thoughts. Naturally, keep it civil though, this is a public space and if you write something inappropriate or deface someone else's material: 1. we can revert and 2. we have a changelog so we can see who did it and ban you from the site. Thank you and enjoy!
Also: See the other interactive pages (and add to them!)

Ah, so fresh and so clean!

| I like it, but I'm not sure what the pillar thing represents. Looks cool, though. --CJ Carey 02:13, May 28, 2009 (UTC) | |
| It's the word "Wiki." :D --Algorhythm 01:33, June 2, 2009 (UTC) | |
| Ooooh, that makes much more sense now. I like how it's all organic-looking, maybe evoking the idea of wikis being community driven and, well, organic? And it's supporting the solid block of the WU ACM. Maybe making the lettering clearer would be good... --CJ Carey 15:58, June 4, 2009 (UTC) | |
| Once I get my tablet sort of working again, I'll make a nice version of this! - Kylia | |
| Bagh, tablets. REAL artists use a mouse and MSPaint, zoomed in to 400%. --CJ Carey 18:47, July 8, 2009 (UTC) | |
FYI: The lounge is pretty much bereft of soda and foodstuff. Come August, we'll need a food run asap.
Idea for next year:
Early in the fall we have an all-acm & acm-affiliate dress-like-a-mad-professor-from-the-first-half-of-the-20th-century night NIGHT-TIME BIKE RIDE! Imagine, a pack of einsteins, godels, turings, von neumanns, etc. biking through campus in top-hats, fedoras, and oversized suits, with their jackets flapping in the cool autumn breeze! I think it's a plan. Who's with me? (we can discuss this at our first meeting in the fall.)
- Gordon
- Hm, I dunno how much mad professor gear I have lying around, but your proposal gave me a slightly diabolical party theme idea: the Bitwise And party (because why else would you have you used a single ampersand??) I'm not fully sure what that would include, but it sure sounds dirty. --CJ Carey
- EDIT:You could have been dereferencing someone, I suppose, but that's actually dirty-sounding as well, so it fits.
- EDITEDIT: The title would have to be: "Bitwise Bros and Dereferenced Hos". It's the only possible option.
- "You can dereference my pointer any time you want, baby"

- As I said previously, I would absolutely participate in said mad-professor bike ride. --Algorhythm 01:33, June 2, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Old Stuff
ACM APPARREL? A.K.A. do we want to make club t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. to boast our awesomeness with sweet nerdy inside jokes?
- Hm. T-shirts could be fun. Kylia!! need a t-shirt design.
- As I said before on the non-virtual whiteboard, I really like this idea!!!
Kylia: need an ascii recursive cat.
- Really now? REALLY? ... okay, give me a while to work it out...
