[edit] Contact Info

I'm going to remove the contact info for now... we can replace it with an image later. --Cmc4 09:34, March 5, 2009 (CST)

Also, someone put this up:

I'm not exactly sure what they wanted, so I'm taking it off the main page for now. --Cmc4 07:16, March 6, 2009 (CST)

[edit] Wiki stuff

  • Now that we've got this site I've deleted the old wikidot wikis so there won't be any confusion.
  • Logo needs to say wash u. I've nominated Kylia to fix this.
  • What about some extra-interactive pages for lists of things we want, discussions, etc. They can go in the Wash U ACM category or something, and provide an easy way for people who dont stop by the lounge much to give us input on things they'd like to see from the acm, the lounge, etc. We could also put them in the talk category actually, but it'd be important we put links on non-Talk pages to them to keep them accessible (a lot of people skip over the discussion parts of term papers by default I think).
  • Some of the things on the main page right now could probably be copied/moved over to the nav bar (at the moment it's good to have a lot on the main page since it makes us look busy, so maybe copy first, remove later once we've got more content for the main page or something...) but access is locked for non-CJs I think. At the very least, locked for me. It's accessible at MediaWiki:Sidebar I think if someone else wants to try.

[edit] How do we add pages?

Wanting to add a page for a class. I'm logged in and yet I can't figure out how to do it. Micah 19:01, April 29, 2009 (UTC)

Well I figured out a hack - just search for the (non-existent) page and then create it when it tells you it doesn't exist. Micah 19:03, April 29, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, that's the recommended way of doing it! Either search for the page title or make a link to the page title in another page, then click on the red link. --CJ Carey 20:01, April 29, 2009 (UTC)
