General Body MeetingOctober 04, 2007

Hello CS majors, minors, and enthusiasts! It is time for ACM's first general body meeting of the semester to be held on Wednesday, October 10th, at 7 PM in the ACM lounge. Please come to get access to the ACM Lounge's lock and hear about what we are up to this semester. We will be discussing: ACM is looking for fresh faces for its officer corp starting next semester. We would like motivated individuals to begin planning events starting this fall and then run for positions in the Spring. Our Halo 3 launch party went very well and we would like to have more, similar, events this semester and in the future, but we need people to help us. Ken Goldman will discuss a department-wide initiative, supported by a new NSF grant, to promote active learning in undergraduate CSE courses and to offer more studio/interdisciplinary courses. Please come and get involved!
