| Programming Contest 1/3 | March 24, 2004 |
Our programming contest will be held on Friday from 2 - 4:30 pm in Lopata 401, also known as the linux lab. Compete against your friends in any programming language or style -- or just have fun testing your ability to think on your feet. Almost any programming language is accepted, and there will be two levels of difficulty to compete in. At the end of the semester, the highest ranked programmer will have their name put on a plaque in the CS office for future generations to admire.

This Thursday will be having movie night. We will be showing the movie Avalon, directed by Mamoru Oshii (from Ghost in the Shell) at 7:30pm in Lopata 100. Come down for a study break, or at least for some free food.

Over break the lounge PCs are going to both be down for maintenence. We should be getting a new hard drive for one, and both are going to receive a clean install of WindowsXP. Everything is going to be wiped, so if you have anything saved on either of them that you absolutely must have, email me at jdt1@cec about getting it off. You have been warned.
