About WU ACM
Washington University's student chapter of ACM currently maintains a lounge in Lopata 509 and a common
space just outside the lounge. Members recieve full-time card swipe access to the lounge, which offers
a private place to study, relax, or just hang out with fellow programmers. The lounge is equipped with two
PC's, an iMac, a Solaris, and high-speed wireless internet access. We also maintain a computer
literature library and provide cheap soda and snacks. Every semester organize all
sorts of events, from movie nights, programming contests, trips to conferences, and Fireside Chat.
